About
Oddland Distribution is the Trunk Shot Pictures label dedicated to documentary cinema and all those works that explore genres and languages outside the company's editorial line — drama, comedy, romance, social cinema and other narrative territories.
We don't start from a festival package. We start from the film, its identity, its story and where it can realistically reach. For each title we develop a personalised distribution plan, built together with the director and production based on the work's identity, its premières, territories and most coherent circuits.
Throughout the process we handle submission management, deadlines, festival relations, fees and waivers, required materials and opportunities that arise over time.
The Oddland standard
A short film's distribution life doesn't have to end in a single season. 24 months allow us to work across different windows, territories and circuits, adapting the strategy to the film's real evolution.
It's not about distributing for longer. It's about having more time to distribute better.
The festival circuit is a fundamental part of the journey, but not the only one. Oddland seeks and evaluates sales opportunities and other forms of distribution when they are coherent with the title and its path.
