Thomas, a middle-aged man, spends his evenings at a bar counter without drinking — he's on medication for an illness that is slowly killing him. Nora, the barmaid, one evening decides to keep him company and challenges him to imagine extravagant ways to "go out in style". What seems like a strange nocturnal complicity slowly turns into something else.
